GT’s Immortal Digestive Shot taste test review. See comments for any follow up info.
I was not paid by any means for this video.
I had a nasty stomach bug a few days ago. The kind that purged nearly 100% of whatever was in my digestive tract. I’m 51 years old. I do NOT get adventurous with my food/drink intake, nor do I latch on to fad diets or internet hype. This is my video of me ingesting this product. I didn’t see any videos on this product, so, I’m trying to fill a void. Paid $2.99/2 bottles at Publix.
I’ll answer any questions below.

Blue Yeti Testing with SM7B Why? Boomer Bob Why?
Переглядів 764 роки тому
I'm testing USB mics so I can provide recommendations to aspiring podcaster friends as well as family members who wish to guest on shows or start their own. I figured I'd play with this BLUE YETI and see what I get. Personally, I wasn't impressed... but! I'm going from a Corvette to a Smart Car. It will get you going and is marginally better than the iPhone/Airpods combo I've used in a pinch......

      It’s me, just a different account. I’ve used it love and nobody knew the difference. I had novice guitarists ask me after the show how I did that. I’ve moved onto the Shuriken (Variax, 12 foot Ninja) and a JTV-59 for better quality modeling. Shurken for low tuned metal and JTV-59 for different guitar modeling (acoustic, banjo, sitar, Fender American… etc).

    I know I'm 5 years late to the party. I'd be curious to hear what the Helix Archon patch sounds like if you add a low/high cut EQ block at the very end of the patch with the low cut around 80 Hz and the high cut around 8.8KHz. I think it would sound less like an angry swarm of bees and more like the 4X12 cab and original amp.

    What I learned tonight is that you have to choose dynamic mic then add phantom power for the cloud lifter, I chose condenser mic because it has phantom power and shows the phantom power on, but it's not! It is for a condenser mic, but won't run the cloud lifter properly! But it should! Crazy, now it is amazing!

    • @BobSoloMan
      @BobSoloMan 2 роки тому

      Choosing 'condenser' setting on the RCP automatically sets Phantom Power to ON position since condenser mics require PP to operate. Using a CL or any other gain enhancer like the CL along with ANY DYNAMIC mic will require PP - and therefore, work fine with the 'condenser' setting on the RCP. You can also choose DYNAMIC and set PP to ON and get the same result. It may show up as you setting the dynamic mic to condenser when turning on PP while in Dynamic setting. Nature of the beast.

    • @ClearAdventure

      @@BobSoloMan @Bob SoloMan BRO, PLEASE LISTEN, lol. I am an audio guy 30+ years, I am telling you Rode screwed up! Test it yourself! I know all about PP and condenser and dynamic mics! And how a condenser needs PP but a dynamic doesn't, lol. But you need PP to run the CL. The Rode has a PROBLEM. It does NOT provide enough PP for a cloud lifter if you use the condenser setting even though it SHOWS the PP ON!! It will provide 48v for a condenser mic, I tested it just now, but when I run my SM7B into my cloud lifter, then choose condenser on the mic choices, then go to level, it SHOWS PP ON, but IT'S NOT!! So I chose the dynamic setting, went to level, turned on the PP there, and it WORKED!! Blew my mind, brother! Sounds incredible now!! Crazy that they made that mistake! Please respond when you test it yourself!! 🤘😁

    • @boomerbob
      @boomerbob 2 роки тому

      @@ClearAdventure it’s me on another account. It could be a firmware thing. I’ve always just picked condenser with the ‘7B and any booster. I’ve ran sound since the mid 90’s myself. Lol. I have 2 CL1’s and a Klark Technic CM-2. On spoken word… no difference. Just the $59 for the cm-2 (2 mics) or the $150 for the CL1. How long have you had the RCP? I pre-ordered mine with the Podmics and waited like 3mo for the RCP and 6mo for the podmics. Never again!

    • @ClearAdventure
      @ClearAdventure 2 роки тому

      @@boomerbob I owe you a big apology! I just checked it again, and it was as I said. But somehow the level on my condenser setting was down to 18 instead of 35!! I thought I checked that a long time ago?? OMG, operator error. 🤦 I was wondering how Rode.could make such a monumental mistake!! 🤘🤣

    • @ClearAdventure
      @ClearAdventure 2 роки тому

      @@boomerbob I found the problem! When I raise the level to 35 on the condenser setting it sounds great, and if I then go to the dynamic setting, it is STILL good at 35 as I left it, but if I then go BACK to condenser from there, it _AUTOMATICALLY_ reverts the level back to 18!! So it was my fault for not having checked the level, but like going to dynamic, I don't have to, it stays the same. And that is my fault for not checking every single time, but it is STILL a problem that Rode has. Now maybe that is a problem that only newer units have? Or maybe with the new update? I don't know. But why would it save under one mic choice but not the other? Makes no sense. Please let me know if yours does the same thing. At least I found it! I almost thought I was going crazy there for a minute, lol. Nope, not this time at least.

    EMF's, MW's, and MF's absolutely have an adverse effect on anything with a nervous system and a face. They can and will affect your physical brain, as to how it functions, neurotransmitter levels, etc. If you could go somewhere for 3 days where there was no technology (EMF's, etc.) you'd probably feel much better. Look into shielding for your home, or at least your bedroom, so you can get a break for at least the time your sleeping. That would go along way. Unfortunately we're stuck in the electromagnetic soup that's around us, but if you get get a break from it every night, you'd feel better.

    The Problem is, that there is a very hearable noise floor when you start talking, even with noise gate on. I just bought the same setup and I can just adjust it with Gain to an Output of around -20/-18db, if more gain is added, the noise floor is absolutely hearable, even without headphones. I‘ll get a new device next week and if the amps are also this bad, then the Rodecaster is a very poor tool compared to the price.

      The readings on these units aren’t an absolute number. I’d imagine the tolerance is 1-3% on something of this caliber. Readings with a multimeter at the outlet show closer to 121-123 variable when this unit displayed 125-126 at same receptacle.

    That only temporarily solved your problem. What you are going to need is a couple of surface drains, catch basins a sump pump and sump pit which you can purchase at your local Lowe's. Corrugated flex pipe. A couple of down spout adapters. A good sump pump I would recommend the Zoeller M 98 can can be purchased at your local Home depot. An 1/ 12 inch pvc adapter pipe. You will want to go from 1 inch pvc riser pipe to 2 inch pvc discharge pipe. You may also want a pop up head for the street to pipe your discharge water their to get rid of it. You will also need a couple of lengths of perforated corrugated flex pipe to get rid of the ground water, and 3/4 inch native gravel stone to line the perforated pipe with. You want to put it below it and around it. You will not need ground cloth if you have heavy clay soil. For more information watch Chuck's you tube channel Apple Drain. He is the owner of Apple Drain inc. He has all kinds if do it your self tips. He is a drainage contractor. Insurance work, emergency work no problem. Hey Dmitry, it's me on another account - What settings are you referring to? Everyone's voice projects differently, so my exact settings may not work well for you. Currently, I'm using a gain booster (Klark Teknik CM2... testing it compared to CL1) - and my gain is around 30-ish so I can pull back from the mic a little, all processing is set to on/off mode (all ON currently) - I messed with the advanced processing settings and found that the on/off simple settings worked better for me and my needs. I keep the fader near unity (5th hash from top) and that's pretty much it. Let me know if there's other things I can answer. You can sample my mic audio at boomer bob show (podcast). It's NSFW cos I curse sometimes but - a minute or 2 in is enough to show you my quality with this gear. Thanks! - bob

  • @SaveMySpirit7
    @SaveMySpirit7 3 роки тому

    If you find the uconnect is emitting EMF with the Wi-Fi still on or 4G or something like that pull the fuse and see if the measurements get better. Consider ditching the radio and going to a previous version that you connect that doesn't have Wi-Fi or Bluetooth or just get rid of it all together and go with an old-fashioned doubled in radio and have it installed at a stereo shop. I'm a tech guy professionally it will gladly trade in a modern radio for a traditional radio that didn't affect my health any day of the week. Chances are you probably have 4G on that radio and the Wi-Fi is still running to a certain degree even talk with off and that's probably the reason for the high EMF readings. Get rid of that radio and that should make things tremendously better.

    Thanks for posting this. Have been considering getting a Pacifica but was not going to purchase anything without doing my own testing. Have an Acustacom 2 and another meter that measures higher frequency fields similar to what's on your dash. Mine measures cell tower email fields which are just as bad if not worse. Avoid 5G at all costs. You are probably like a number of us EMF sensitive. Doctors will never find this EMF has been considered a class to carcinogen. Pay close attention to the fields around you. Carry your cell phone with Wi-Fi Bluetooth and data turned off. You'll still be able to make and send phone calls as well as send and receive text messages. if you want to do something toggle it on then when you're done toggle it off. Used to set my router at home on a timer you can get for $10 at Walmart to shut off at midnight. Try to sleep with no Wi-Fi in the house and make sure you don't have anything else sets Wi-Fi emitting. Smart meters, thermostats, televisions and the list goes on even Xbox. I had everything wired for a long time and if you can't run wires look at the Netgear power over ethernet adapters at Amazon. 300 mg is just too large of an RF field and chances are you are exposing yourself to electromagnetic energy while driving. Couple of things you could try are the following. Pull the fuse to the radio and see with the uconnect turned off completely if the EMF field goes down. I've also been looking at the Chrysler Voyager that doesn't have all the technology that the Pacifica has for obvious reasons. I drive an older vehicle that's near 20 years old and the readings I get are 10 mg. 300 are unhealthy levels. You probably don't have any mental issues, they're not psychological problems, you are just EMF sensitive like myself and many others and need to pay attention to this and you will feel better living your life without cell towers keeping your phone turned off or your wireless radios turned off or airplane mode and especially not having such high magnetic fields near your body especially when you are driving. Look up cell tower or EMF dangers and you'll find a ton of videos. Try not to drive that car for a couple of days or a week and see if you start feeling better and chances are your anxiety will go away when you're not exposing yourself to such high electromagnetic fields.

      Thank you for your comment. I'm still on the fence as to what causes my discomfort while driving. I still avoid highways faster than 50mph. Doctors still say it's in my head and push Xanax. I refuse. I do not discount the existence of a PTSD-style memory from the initial episode I had that turned into my current condition, but I refuse to accept that it's all mental and nothing external or chemically abnormal. I continue my search. I have a 2020 Pacifica now with all the safety sensors all over it and I'm sure it's even worse. I'll make a another video in it if you're interested. That was a 2017 Limited (base at the time).

      I have my RCP plugged into a rack-mounted power conditioner and I use mid-grade cables like HOSA and PigHog (thicker insulation and better jacks on each end). Other than that, I can't think of anything else that may be causing you a problem. Hit me on Twitter @boomerbobshow if you have any more questions, I'd be happy to assist.
